There is no way to happiness. Happiness is the way.
Thick Nhat Hanh
I found this audio Control Your Thought And Mind from Wayne Dyer in 2017 when I was struggling in life in many ways. Fast forward, I’ve listened to this audio a hundred times/ This teaching from him came to me at the right time when the needed it the most. I was able to forgive my father and realized how he’s been a teacher in my life. I was able to forgive everyone in the past who wasn’t good to me.
Since I had listened to this audio many times, I had written an excerpt to read and remind myself in the tough times about my intention, why I am here on this planet, and what matters to me at present.
I had written this draft post about 2 years ago, and while I was going through the drafts list, I thought it’s the perfect time to put it out in the universe and may be this post helps someone in need of some soothing. Wayne Dyer has been an instrument in my life for opening my mind and heart to the new possibilities and I dedicate this post to him.
Now, we begin with Wayne Dyer:
There is a spiritual solution to every problem.
“Don’t die with your music still in you”. These words are coming out of my mouth right now, come out of the silence. Some of us hear a different drummer and we must march to the music we hear. But, all of you have some music playing and all of you have a heroic mission.
There are no accidents in this universe. We all show up here with a purpose. There is an intelligence that is part of everything and everyone and all of us are connected to it. And, many of us are afraid to listen to that music and march to it. I know you have a book you want to write, I know there is a song you want to sing at someplace. Who knows what it maybe, maybe you just want to travel and see the world. Maybe you want to get into a relationship with someone, but you’ve been afraid to, but your heart says it’s the right thing to do.
I know what my music is and it’s playing right now. Who you are, whatever that music is, however distant it may sound, however strange, however weird others may interpret it to be — don’t get to the end of your life and know that you are going to leave and not have it played yet.
“Letting go doesn’t mean erasing a memory or ignoring the past; it is when you are no longer reacting to the things that used to make you feel tense and you are releasing the energy attached to certain thoughts. It takes self-awareness, intentional action, practice, and time. Letting go is the act of getting to know yourself so deeply that all delusions fall away.” — Excerpt from the book Clarity and Connection by Young Pueblo.
What does letting go mean?(in my own words)
Living from a place of surrender.
Creating emptiness.
Flowing with life and not following the mind’s noise and all other external noise.
The question I ask myself — “What would be unlived in my life if it ended today?“
There is a power in not knowing, in the unknown, in the unfamiliar territory. I am practicing the art of surrendering. I trust in myself that I can achieve what I am intended to achieve. I can be what I want to be. I can have what universe has kept for me.
Surrendering is an art, it’s a practice, a knowing within me that, I don’t have to hold everything too tight close to my chest. See if you could release it and observe its magical nature.
Surrendering and allowing? What does it even mean to surrender?
Having a knowing within that right people will show up at the right time, knowing my true nature. Having a knowing that the right job and career will show up the right time when I am open and ready to receive the universe’s gifts.
Having internal peace that I don’t have to be the one always in front.
I am not advocating to do anything. It’s a practice to do something and then let it go, toss it away — having a knowing that I am doing the best I can.
Surrender is a space between the effort and the result or outcome. It’s a knowing that when life knocks you down, nothing seems to be working — you can always get up.
I’ve been in a state of surrender and letting go of expectations, outcomes, and attachments. I had heard of Abraham Hicks from Wayne Dyer’s teachings, but I never studied Abraham Hicks’s work. I was on vacation in September 2021 in the mountains of Idaho, and something shifted in me to give a try learning from her work. Now, it’s my desire to share the resources on Surrendering process I’ve learned from her in this post.
Below you will find a list of YouTube links. You may not have to go through all at once. To start with, click on the link that resonates with you the most at present moment, and then keep revisiting the post when you’d like to learn more.

Synchronicity is Not Just a Coincidence: What is Synchronicity & What does it Mean?Coincidence and synchronicity are both defined as “striking occurrences of two or more events at one time”. The difference is that coincidence is perceived as chance or luck while synchronicity implies the presence of a deeper intelligence at work. The concept of synchronicity eliminates the accident from the nature of this apparently ‘random’ phenomena, and while synchronicities can manifest as something you might want to put in the coincidence box, there is just something about the event that makes you stop in your tracks and question, something about the occurrence that leaves you utterly astonished and wondering if it could be something more.
Never Pursue Anything Instead Do This Simple Thing: “If something you want is slow to come to you, it can only be for one reason: You are spending more time focused upon its absence than you are about its presence.”
How To Let Go Of Someone You Love: If you are asking your self – How do you let go of someone you really love? Then this video is for you! Letting go the person you love is always hard, but after listening to this wonderful Abraham Hicks teaching you will definitely find the power inside your self to do it. In this video Abraham (Esther) Hicks explains what should be your thought process in order to let go of a relationship gracefully. And also how to attract new love.
Total Surrender and The Universe Will Guide You: Abraham Hicks video talking about we as a human to surrender to the universe so we can receive the guidance that will lead us to what we want.
I hope this post helps you to go deep within you one little extra mile and you give yourself permission to surrender and raise your vibration to connect to the universe’s vibrational energy.

“Trauma isn’t what happens to you, it’s what happens inside you.”
– Gabor Maté
This post highlights some of the resources by Lisa Scott listened to, recently which I enjoyed so much. In fact, I have been listening to this podcast on repeat. So, here is backstory.
