Short Life Advice From The Best — Andrea Goeglein and Jill Bolte Taylor (#117)

This episode is part of my new experiment where I combine some nuggets from the episodes done with Dr. Andrea Goeglein and Dr. Jill Bolte Taylor.

Dr. Andrea Goeglein altered the truth of her age and got a job at a Wall Street brokerage firm at 14.  By 24 she opened her first operating business – a Haagen-Dazs ice cream store in Reno, Nevada.  Many businesses and a PhD in Organizational Psychology later she felt she had experienced enough stress and anxiety to be an expert. Today she is a Success Catalyst and known as Dr. Success™.  Andrea is the founder, curator and author of the Don’t Die™ self-development collection of books.  Her latest book is Don’t Die Waiting to Be Brave. As an expert in Applied Positive Psychology, she is your success Sherpa, guiding you as you climb the mountain of success.

Dr. Jill Bolte Taylor is a Harvard-trained and published neuroanatomist who experienced a severe hemorrhage in the left hemisphere of her brain in 1996. On the afternoon of this rare form of stroke (AVM), she could not walk, talk, read, write, or recall any of her life. It took eight years for Dr. Jill to completely recover all of her physical function and thinking ability. She is the author of the New York Times bestselling memoir My Stroke of Insight:
