Colleen Gallagher is a Mindful clinical social worker, retired Broadway actor, former teacher and artist who trained in MBSR, Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction at UMass Medical Center for Mindfulness founded by Jon Kabat-Zinn. Colleen is passionate about Mindfulness and its transformative effects. She leads groups and trainings, teaches and is a life coach and psychotherapist. An avid yoga and meditation practitioner, as a speaker she’s presented on Mindfulness, Social Emotional Learning, Stress Reduction and Mindful Leadership/Team development.

Gallagher is an MSW/LSW, MBSR-QT, certified CMI, Mindful Schools educator, CCTP-Certified Clinical Trauma Professional, Certified Yoga Alliance instructor, Certified Mindfulness & Meditation teacher (Buddhist Studies-Interdependence Project) with experience in hospitals, businesses, schools, social/community programs and mental health. Colleen’s areas of interest include- clinical evidenced-based social work, research, mind-body health/somatics, social mindfulness, values-based performance and leadership, habits/addictions, social emotional learning, ACEs, the arts, Buddhist psychology, community building, mindful-life choices and intentional living.
