Celia Landman began practicing mindfulness in an effort to add more happiness to my life. When she used the practice to transform generational rage–that’s when she learned to really trust and commit to this as a way of life. The biggest gift she’s found is learning to love herself and practice “not abandoning,” the capacity to stay present with all that is arising. She has used a daily forgiveness meditation for over three years which helped er break through the blocks of ice that were around her heart and be able to actually feel the love that is around her. She was ordained as a lay member of the Tiep Hein Buddhist lineage, the Plum Village Community of Engaged Buddhism in 2013 by the Venerable Thich Nhat Hanh and has been practicing meditation for over 15 years.
Celia is an experienced mindfulness practitioner who enjoys sharing mindfulness with adults and teens. Working one on one or with groups, Celia draws from her extensive personal practice in both secular and Buddhist traditions. Her range of experience enables her to offer diverse resources to individuals and communities and create specific training plans for specific needs. The path of mindfulness has brought greater happiness and stability to her life and Celia’s greatest aspiration is to help others recognize their own innate goodness and agency.
